I’ve been a client for about a year and a half. I had a very good experience with them back when it was modular storage. My only complaint, now that they have changed owners, would be customer service. I feel like they don’t try very hard to problem solve. They don’t take payments. So if you fall behind one month, you could potentially become very far behind in your bill. You have to pay the whole thing in one lump sum. Being on disability with an injury that keeps me from being able to work for the time being, that has become a huge problem for me. They have made it difficult for me to speak with the owner to try to resolve this issue. I am going through a very difficult time in my life atm and I am doing everything I can to not lose my belongings that I have stored there in a unit. I managed to pay off ( in one lump sum) $2300 in July of this year. That was extreamely difficult to do. The plan was for me to move into a place where I’d have enough space to keep my belongings there and not have to worry about storage. By the time I had a place lined up and everything was good to go,I had already fallen behind another payment and my bill was too much for me to cover and they put their lock on it again plus added more late fees and a lien fee ( which by the way is one months rent) and now it’s nov. and it’s scheduled for auction and my bill is nearly $1000. I have called and I’ve spoke with the receptionist several times. I have been desperate to keep my Items and my children’s items and I’ve been willing to co-operate and work with them to come up with a solution but they don’t seem to want to do that. I feel frustrated and angry. I understand they’re a business and they have rules they have to follow and they’re there to make money. However, I seriously think it’s bs they won’t take payments. I could’ve paid it off and been out of there by now. It was very very hard to come up with that lump sum the first time and yes I’m lucky they even held onto it for that long but now it’s barely been 6 months and it’s impossible right now for me to pay $1000 plus hire a truck and ppl to help move it all . But it’s gonna be auctioned off nov.15 if I don’t do something! I rent a 5x11 unit( that I wish I could’ve been allowed to downsize) they cost $130/mo. Now ,they tell me, they’re willing to deduct the late fees and the lien and I should be happy with that but I’m not because if they would’ve done that the first time back when the bill still only had the one month on it I could’ve figured out a way to pay it but now the bill is so damn high and with Xmas next month, I can’t see how it’s possible. It makes me want to cry. So I give stars for the unit. They’re clean. I like the climate control. And they’re secure. But that’s it.
