<p>Storing may be a difficult task at times. To achieve maximum results we advise that you follow these guidelines:</p><h3>1. Save Space</h3><ul><li>Stack chairs seat to seat with a furniture pad separating them.</li><li>Disassemble any large furniture that can be taken apart (bed frames, desks, shelving units‚ etc.).</li><li>Stack boxes on top of tables and desks.</li></ul><h3>2. Keep Your Belongings Safe</h3><ul><li>Anything important should be wrapped or boxed properly. Thoroughly wrap breakables in bubble wrap and/or packing paper.</li><li>Cover all furniture with furniture pads or old bed sheets.</li><li>Lay a furniture pad down on the floor before placing glass or anything breakable down on its edge.</li><li>Use File Boxes for files and important documents.</li><li>Wrap plates, glasses and china individually and place them in a box no larger than 2 cubic feet.</li><li>When storing appliances be sure that they are dry on the inside. Fix the door open slightly so that air doesn’t get trapped inside causing mold.</li><li>Avoid leaving boxes half full. This may leave the box weak, and damage items inside if other boxes are stacked on top.</li><li>Store boxes or breakables on the ground under desks and tables to protect them.</li></ul><h3>3. Pack Smart (to save yourself time later)</h3><ul><li>Pack and store so that you are able to access items you may need from more often (such as seasonal clothes).&nbsp;Store those items you may need at the front of the unit.</li><li>Label both the tops and sides of your boxes so that you can easily locate what you need later.</li><li>Keep 'like' boxes together when filling your storage unit for better organization and simpler retrieval of your belongings (eg. clothes boxes on the left wall).</li></ul>
